Become a sterilization sponsor!

Dogs in the street are reproducing extremely efficiently. Did you know that an unneutered female and her offspring can produce 67 000 puppies in six years? In Romania at least 50 % of these puppies will die a painful death from various diseases or from starvation before reaching adulthood. In addition a big part of these 67 000 puppies will later in life die from starvation, disease or in car accidents. The only humane thing to do is to prevent these innocent animals from ever being born. This is what we try to do though our CNR programme. Read more about it here. Presently is not permitted to release the dogs back on the streets, so Save the Dogs neuters streetdogs when there's room for new dogs at the shelter. Owned dogs are neutered all the time, and at no cost to the owner.

Neuterings are one of the corner stones of our work and you can help us with this important task by becoming a sterilization sponsor. As a sterilization sponsor you pay for one sterilization each month and by doing so you are in a very concrete way helping to reduce the numer of animals on the streets in Cernavoda and Medgidia.

Save the Dogs has their own skilled veterinarians and one sterilization costs only 15 euros.

For only 15 euros a month you can prevent 67 000 puppies from being born unwanted into this world.
